Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actress who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. It ran through 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her first cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film she later described as a bad low-budget production. The film was followed by Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. Her role in critically acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) brought her a number of nominations. Moore got her first role in the role of a leading lady for the film Safe (1996).
